Chris Robinson, also known as 'The Dream Detective' and 'The Premonition Man', has spent many hours of his life being studied by Dr Hearne in the cause of lucid dream precognition research.

During years of study, Dr Hearne watched Robinson's nightly process of preparing to dream, dreaming during REM sleep, and 'automatic writing' to record his lucid dreams in his dream diary.

It upsets all the laws of science of course, and official science is very much against this point of view. And that is a particular bias we have to fight, in this field. I have studied Chris for years and I have been absolutely amazed at some of the things he has come up with. He actually went to an army camp and got himself arrested, because he says, there is going to be an event here soon. And it happened very soon. It has made me change my whole attitude to science, essentially and this is rather mind boggling, if premonitions exist then we can’t live in a physical universe because they can only exist in a non physical universe, so, really premonitions are saying we live in a dream world. - Dr Keith Hearne

Dr Keith M. T. Hearne (BSc MSc PhD) Psychologist, Composer, Writer

LUCID DREAMING DAY – 12 April each year

On 12 April 1975, English psychologist, Keith Hearne, discovered (in his PhD research, completed in 1978) a way of enabling lucid-dream subjects in the sleep-lab to signal out from within the dream by making coded eye-movements.

This circumvented the profound bodily paralysis of dreaming 'rapid eye movement' (REM) sleep, which had previously prevented such communication.

Lucid dreams are an unusual type of dream in which you become perfectly conscious, with full critical faculties, within the dream state.

This advance opened a huge new area of dream research, into ‘inner space’.

Daniel Love suggested in his book, Are You Dreaming? Exploring Lucid Dreams: A Comprehensive Guide (see more below) that the date should be internationally recognized each year as 'Lucid Dreaming Day'.

The date 12 April 2015 was celebrated as the 40th anniversary of Hearne’s discovery.

Keith Hearne's pioneering PhD research into lucid dreams

Dr Keith Hearne conducted the world's first sleep-lab research into 'lucid' (conscious, controllable) dreams for his PhD at Liverpool University, England.

Hearne:
  • obtained the first eye-movement signals from a subject within the lucid dream state, in April 1975
  • discovered the 'pre-Iucid' REM burst, and 'light switch effect' in dreams
  • discovered the basic physiological parameters of lucid dreaming
  • invented the world's first 'dream machine'

Background to the first PhD in the world on Lucid Dreaming and the original discovery of the ocular-signaling technique from lucid dreams by Dr Keith Hearne

After obtaining a BSc in psychology from Reading University, England, in 1973, Keith Hearne went to Hull University in the Autumn of that year, intending to conduct research for a PhD on hypnotic dreams, following discoveries he had made in 'hypno-oneirography'. He decided instead to use newly acquired computer equipment to research electro-physiological aspects of visual imagery*.

During that time he became skilled in running a sleep laboratory. He became interested in 'lucid' dreaming (the paradoxical conscious awareness of dreaming within the dream itself) and reasoned that it must be possible for a lucid dreamer to communicate to the world of wakefulness. A problem, though, was the inherent muscular paralysis of REM sleep.

In 1975 it suddenly occurred to Hearne that since the eye musculature is not inhibited in REM sleep, it might be possible to get subjects to signal by making deliberate ocular movements.
On the morning of 5th April 1975, Hearne wired up a lucid dream subject who was instructed to make a sequence of left-right eye-movements on becoming lucid. A lucid dream was reported at about 8 am, but unfortunately, the monitoring equipment had just been switched off. A week later, on the morning of 12th April 1975, the same subject had another lucid dream. The first signals in the world from a lucid dream were thus recorded.

Hearne continued to obtain more records over the next months. He wound up the work on visual imagery, submitting it for an MSc* and moved to Liverpool University, where he was offered a sleep-laboratory, to research lucid dreams for this PhD, using paid subjects.
During the course of this work he discovered the basic electro-physiological features of lucid dreams, including the pre-Iucid REM burst. Hearne also discovered the 'light switch' phenomenon, and invented the first ' dream machine'.

In 1975 Hearne informed psychology departments at American universities of his findings including Stanford (W. Dement) and Chicago (A. Rechtschaffen).

* Hearne, Keith M.T. (1975). Visually evoked responses and visual imagery. MSc thesis. University of Hull, England.

Dr Hearne's original chart-record of the first ocular signals from a lucid-dream, and his 'dream-machine' invention are now on permanent display in the Science Museum, London.

A slide showing some of the cases from the dream precognition files of The Premonition Man, including pages from his dream diary.

Grant Solomon & Jane Solomon are currently writing a book about the life of Chris Robinson, working title THE PREMONITION MAN: Scientific Evidence for Dream Precognition (planned publication date: 2022).

The book is for anyone interested in precognitive dreams and the nature of reality.

Robinson is an ordinary, everyday person. He is not a mystic or a religious man but, since 1986, he has been haunted by premonitions and precognitive dreams on a regular basis.

Known as the 'Dream Detective' for his work with the police and security services, Robinson has had premonitions of plane crashes, terrorist atrocities and murders for many years.

The dreams started in 1986 when Robinson, aged just 35, died and met 'a Team of Beings' on the 'other side'. They gave him two options...

Option 1) He could stay dead.

Option 2) He could go back to his life on Earth if he worked for 'Them'. By night, they would take him out of his body on journeys into the future. By day, he would warn the world.

Robinson chose Option 2.

Almost immediately after he was returned to his Earth life, the dreams began. In the mid-eighties, the UK was under constant threat from a terrorist organisation known as the Irish Republican Army or IRA. Robinson would dream about a bomb exploding and then would read about the same event in the following days newspaper. He was horrified and terrified in equal measure. He regularly contacted the police and initially was treated with disbelief. When his predictions came true, he was arrested and accused of the crimes.

It didn't take long for the authorities to realise that Robinson wasn't the perpetrator but just an innocent messenger trying to convince them and himself he wasn't mad, and in the process change the course of history.

Robinson was introduced to Dr Keith Hearne, an internationally known British psychologist who conducted the world’s first sleep-laboratory research into ‘lucid’ dreams (in which the dreamer becomes fully aware of being in a dream) at Liverpool University. He devised the ocular-signalling technique and invented the first ‘dream machine’. The original sleep-lab chart records from his pioneering research, and a dream machine, are on permanent display at the Science Museum in London. Hearne conducted tests on Robinson that he says changed his view of science and the nature of reality.

The dreams are rarely straightforward but, over the years, Robinson has learned to read the cryptic messages and understand the meanings.

In April 2001, Robinson, in a further bid to have his dream premonition gift tested scientifically, contacted Professor Gary Schwartz of the University of Arizona. Schwartz is a published and respected scientist who specialises in individuals who appear to have psychic abilities. The academic was was sceptical of Robinson's claims but eventually agreed to do some experiments. Schwartz conducted 'The Arizona Experiments' in 2001, in which Robinson was tasked to dream of ten destinations over ten days (1st to 10th August inclusive) before each day's destination had been chosen. The results were extraordinary.

Robinson's lucid and terrifying premonitions include 9/11, the London 7/7 bombings, and the death of Diana, Princess of Wales.

When his work came to the attention Stan Lee, the creator of the Marvel Universe made a Superhumans documentary about Robinson and called it, 'Future Man'.

Background
The capture and arrest of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein occurred on 13 December 2003 at Ad-Dawr, Iraq. Israeli-born celebrity psychic Uri Geller, best known for his spoon-bending articles, says the power of the paranormal led U.S. troops to the fugitive ex-dictator.

Chris Robinson quote from Twitter: 31 December 2021, 2:20 pm
'I was one of three in a group tasked to find Saddam. We were given a day and time to view his location. I saw Tikrit and a compound. One lady had much the same. 3rd lady saw him in a hole in the ground hiding under pottery. We were congratulated and told this was HUGE success.'

Clairvoyant led Americans to Saddam, says Geller
Tuesday 7 November 2006 2:07 PM GMT

HERZLIYA, Israel (Reuters) - Did a clairvoyant help U.S. commandos ferret Saddam Hussein out of his hiding place in Iraq three years ago?

Israeli-born celebrity psychic Uri Geller, best known for his spoon-bending antics, says the power of the paranormal led U.S. troops to the fugitive Iraqi ex-dictator.

'You remember when they found Saddam Hussein in Iraq? A solider walked over to a rug, lifted it and then found a trap-door and found him in there,' Geller told Reuters.

'Well, I know that that soldier walked over to that rug because he got information from a "remote viewer" from the United States'.

Geller, who says he worked for the Central Intelligence Agency during the Cold War, said his information came from a high-level source involved in U.S. paranormal programmes.

A U.S. military spokesman in Iraq had made no immediate comment. At the time of his capture, U.S. commanders said a source close to the fugitive had given him up under interrogation.

A Brazilian psychic tried last year to claim a $25 million bounty offered for Saddam's capture, saying he had described the hiding place in letters to the U.S. government.

Did Chris Robinson work for US government as 'psychic spy' AFTER Project Star Gate?

According to journalist, Gary S Bekkum, British citizen, CHRIS ROBINSON—who 'gets info about the future in dream code from ET'—appears to have worked for the US government (Tom Drake/[redacted]) as a 'psychic spy' AFTER Project Star Gate was closed down. Are his SAI (Spirit/Alien/Inter) 'communicators'—who also provided information about the future—the same as those from The Scole Experiment?

Senior NSA (Signals Intelligence) Executive, Tom Drake, talking about Chris Robinson...

It’s what some people call ‘anomalous phenomena’. Through my work I got to know Chris Robinson, who’s a precognitive psychic. He has a unique ability. It’s still not well understood. He was having these dreams. And one of the dreams was the towers being hit. He’d actually gone to the US Embassy. And he had also gone to authorities in the UK. That information was openly shared with US Authorities. PRIOR to 9/11. And it was IGNORED.

ABOUT TOM DRAKE...
'Special Intelligence' operations colleague of Chris Robinson. Whistleblower. Decorated United States Air Force and United States Navy veteran. Senior Executive, US National Security Agency (Signals Intelligence). 2011 recipient of the Ridenhour Prize for Truth-Telling. Co-recipient of Sam Adams Associates for Integrity in Intelligence (SAAII) award.

Spies, Lies, and Polygraph Tape
16 September 2012

(STARGATE007) — I am pleased to announce investigative journalist George Knapp will be interviewing former senior NSA official Thomas Andrews Drake on Coast to Coast AM, tonight, Sunday, September 16, 2012 (or very early Monday morning if you’re in the central or eastern time zone in the U.S.).

George Knapp is one of the best investigative journalists in the paranormal/anomalous phenomena and UFO fields, and it was my previous good fortune to have been George’s guest on Coast to Coast, once in January 2009 and again, with Dan Throop Smith, in December 2010. (And it would be remiss of me to fail to mention another superb Coast to Coast AM host, George Noory, who interviewed me in November 2009.)

As explained at the Coast to Coast Am website:

Tom Drake “was charged with ten counts of mishandling documents when he blew the whistle and questioned the legality of domestic spying by the National Security agency. He’ll join George Knapp to discuss how all of the original charges against him were dropped after he rejected several deals to ‘plea bargain with the truth … Drake accepted a misdemeanour plea agreement for exceeding his authorized use of a government computer. The Department of Justice had been pursuing Drake for alleged violations of the Espionage Act that might have sent him to prison for up to 35 years. But the government withdrew the evidence supporting several of the central charges after a judge ruled Drake would not be able to defend himself unless the government revealed details about one of the National Security Agency’s telecommunications collection programs.”

You may recall Mr. Drake from a series of articles I wrote about an alleged psychic spy program run out of the NSA, based upon two independent sources’ accounts.

The first source told investigative author Gus Russo about a secret deep black paranormal program managed by NSA Signals Intelligence, back in 2007.

Later, our second source, Christopher Robinson of the United Kingdom, went on the record about experiments he conducted with U.S. intelligence following 9/11. Robinson had attempted to warn U.S. authorities about the use of airplanes as weapons of mass destruction based upon psychic paranormal dreams, hours before the attacks took place that fateful Tuesday morning. Among the various intelligence officials Robinson met during his trips to the United States was Tom Drake; however, at the time Robinson had no idea Drake worked for and was a senior government official at NSA.

Chris Robinson learned about the NSA connection when Drake’s Espionage Act indictment made international news, and was eventually featured in a special investigative report by CBS News 60 Minutes with Scott Pelley, following an excellent article by Jane Mayer in The New Yorker.

And for more information about Mr. Drake and Mr. Robinson and the alleged NSA paranormal program, please check out our new STARpod.us website, and my latest print edition book in the “Knowing the Future” series, “Quantum of Strangeness: The STAR GATE to 9/11, and Beyond.”

And thank you all for your support!

--------------------------------------

(STARpod.org) — I watched the CBS 60 Minutes story about NSA whistleblowers and the espionage case against former NSA official Thomas Drake with great interest.

60 Minutes asked a whistle-blower expert, Attorney Jesselyn Radack, why Drake would be charged under the Espionage Act for taking home — but not disclosing — classified information.

“That’s a very good question,” answered Radack, “The Espionage Act was a World War One law, passed in 1917, meant to go after spies, not whistle-blowers.”

When asked if there was any evidence that Drake sought to harm the United States, Radack replied, “None, whatsoever.”

My sources had already confirmed that Drake, who had held very high level positions in the Signals Intelligence Directorate at NSA, knew a psychic named Chris Robinson. And Robinson claimed to have worked with Drake to explore his psychic spying skills for seven years.
Picture

I also knew, based upon thousands of pages of declassified government documents — covering a period from the 1960s to the mid-1990s — that the entire U.S. intelligence community had been enthralled with the use of psychic intelligence. The files proved that government interest in the use of the paranormal had extended all the way to the Joint Chiefs, where Drake had, as a Naval officer, analyzed intelligence for the Pentagon.

Watch video of ABC News breaking the story of America’s psychic spy programs

Watch video of ABC News Nightline revealing the secret STAR GATE program

I had files on proposed covert psychic intelligence programs, lists of names and research facilities, once classified scientific reports from top defense contractors, thousands of pages blackened by redactions of sensitive information — but one question lingered in my mind:

Was the post-9/11 U.S. intelligence community back in the business of using psychic intelligence?

New information reveals psychic spy connection to Donald Rumsfeld’s Office of the Secretary of Defense. And why was whistle-blower Thomas Drake charged with espionage after working with U.K. psychic Chris Robinson? An update.

Author Jon Ronson seemed to think so, but his book — “The Men Who State at Goats” — seemed at best a superficial, if immensely entertaining investigation.

I had obtained CIA’s STAR GATE files — roughly 89,000 pages of government documentation — and had managed to network with various researchers and government officials and consultants who were familiar with the old programs.

One of my contacts, the author Gus Russo, provided us with a source on NSA use of psychic intelligence. Russo’s source confirmed that NSA had not only been in the psychic spying business, they had continued their research program following 9/11.

Russo’s NSA source told us the program was covert and compartmentalized — a so-called Special Access Program — deep inside NSA Signals Intelligence.

Why would Signals Intelligence be interested in something as esoteric and disreputable as paranormal intelligence collection?

One reason might be the discovery of a signal carrier acting at the biological level deep inside the human mind. I knew that foreign researchers had been looking into the new field of quantum biology for communication.

A human being, and human consciousness in particular, can be modeled as a kind of ‘black-box’ where unknown processes take place. One of my contacts, a Chinese researcher based in Beijing, had proposed an experiment to see if a human observer was capable of quantum perception: the ability to perceive two possible outcomes simultaneously.

CIA files confirmed that the U.S. intelligence community was not only aware of foreign activity looking to adapt paranormal phenomena for intelligence purposes, but intended to continue to monitor the situation for developments.

In addition, Congress had pushed for open cooperation between American and foreign researchers in paranormal and alternative science — and by the time CIA closed the officially acknowledged psychic program called STAR GATE, most of the discussion had moved onto the Internet.

About the same time, alternative researchers received a boost from a notable mathematical physicist from Oxford, Sir Roger Penrose, in a series of books where he suggested quantum effects in the brain might explain the mystery of human perception.
It appeared that the field was heating up just as the intelligence community was officially winding down their interest.

Were some of the spooks covertly networking with the on-line research community? And why had Thomas Drake, then a senior official at NSA, been working with U.K. psychic Chris Robinson, who claimed to have been tasked to locate Saddam Hussein in Iraq, and to find nuclear sites in Iran?

Was NSA in the business of warrantless mind taps?

An offer I received to go down the rabbit hole added to mystery. Why was my contributing source, a British citizen named Caryn Anscomb, suddenly accused of working with MI6, the British Secret Intelligence Service? Was this merely to prevent her from meeting former intelligence persons, who had now seemingly been warned off, or was there more to the story?....

2010: Laura Bradshaw Eisenhower Mahon, great-granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, and daughter of Obama Administration energy consultant Susan Eisenhower, claims to have been recruited into a ‘deep black’ program associated with former CIA paranormal researchers and John L. Petersen’s future directed think-tank The Arlington Institute. Ms. Mahon claims to have paranormal powers.

Thomas Drake is indicted on ten counts including “willful retention of national defense information,” “obstruction of justice” and “making a false statement” for his whistle-blowing efforts.

Christopher Robinson — a British psychic who was studied in the United States in 2001 at the University of Arizona and would later claim to have warned American intelligence services of airplanes used as cruise missiles just prior to the 9/11 attacks — recognizes Drake from news stories about his indictment. Robinson learns that the man he worked with for seven years was a senior intelligence official with the NSA.

2011: Sources confirm Chris Robinson’s claim of knowing Drake. One source identifies John L. Petersen and The Arlington Institute as a key point of contact. Robinson goes public concerning his relationship with Drake. Questions are raised as to whether or not Drake’s involvement was a personal or an official matter, by STARpod.org.

2012: The remote viewing magazine Eight Martinis publishes “Is NSA in the Psychic Spy Business?” by Gary S. Bekkum. Shortly after publication, Robinson provides new email messages supporting his claimed involvement with officials from Donald Rumsfeld’s Office of the Secretary of Defense, notably [redacted] and Linton Wells II. According to STAR GATE files, both men had previously been briefed on DIA’s paranormal foreign collection effort in the 1990s.

Tom Drake confirms the U.S. intelligence community had pre-9/11 psychic intelligence during an interview with investigative reporter George Knapp on Coast to Coast AM.
Picture
And another mystery would eventually emerge: Why was Laura Bradshaw Eisenhower Mahon, the great-granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, claiming she had been approached with an offer to join a secret deep-black group tied to former psychic spies and their intelligence handlers?

A fuzzy picture emerged after U.K. psychic Chris Robinson discovered hard copies of lost email in his home. The messages identified [redacted] at the Office of the Secretary of Defense as one of the senior Bush-era officials interested in pursuing the use of paranormal phenomena for threat scenario development and potentially in a tip-off role for future terrorist actions.

POSTSCIPT — MORGAN ARTS COUNCIL

The blurb below is from the original YouTube video: https://youtu.be/Q6kBL94n32I

In this episode of Postscript, hosted by John Petersen of the Arlington Institute, John talks with Chris Robinson, a dream detective. Chris has incredible stories of other-worldly beings and visions of the future.

There’s only one person in the world who started dreaming about the 9/11 attack six months before it happened . . . and notified the US embassy in London of the impending disaster two weeks before that fateful day.

The Americans didn’t listen, but they should have. For Christopher Robinson was the man that British Intelligence and Scotland Yard depended on to dream about the future and notify them of upcoming IRA bombing plans. They depended on Chris because he never missed telling them when and where an upcoming attack would take place. He has anticipated plane crashes days before the event, found deceased crime victims, found missing persons that the police couldn’t locate (and told me in the morning, with extraordinary accuracy, what was going to happen in that afternoon)!

Chris’s amazing ability to dream about the future in terms that can be reliably translated into people, times, places and activities has been the subject of books, major university scientific studies, films, articles, TV shows and just about all forms of media.
He has taught many people how to dream about the future and, through his advanced intuitive capabilities, helped thousands to understand how to deal with seemingly impossible personal situations. He is also a healer, having on numerous occasions led people with supposedly terminal conditions to eliminate those issues and return to a healthy life.

'Premonition Man: The Robinson Phenomenon' by Grant & Jane Solomon (planned publication date: 2022) will tell the story of precognitive dreamer, Chris Robinson.

Can Robinson tell the future from his lucid dream experiences?

Stan Lee, creator of the Marvel Universe, including X-Men and Spider-Man, thinks he can.

In the two videos below, Robinson appears as 'Future Man' in an episode of Lee's 'Superhumans' on 19 August 2010.

DAILY MIRROR

I See The Future In My Dreams

This article appeared in the Daily Mirror newspaper on 21 October 2005.

When the terror bombers struck London on July 7, Chris Robinson was shocked. Shocked, but not surprised.

For Chris had seen it all in his dreams - and it wasn't the first time visions of horror had come to him in his sleep. Every morning Chris, 54, jots down his dreams and sends them to Dr Keith Hearne, the first scientist to study "lucid" dreaming under laboratory conditions.

He is the perfect guinea pig ... when he was younger he had precognitive dreams two or three times a year. Now, the visions happen almost daily.

For three weeks leading up to the July 7 bombings he repeatedly dreamt of snow and dogs.
Over the years Chris discovered that dogs in his dream signify terrorists, snow implies imminent danger and meat is code for dead bodies.

On the morning of July 1 he emailed Dr Hearne: "Last night I was in a tunnel. There were two explosions, lots of soot and smoke. There are huge great big dogs. This could be London." Three days later (July 4) he emailed Dr Hearne again: "I've had another dream with huge dogs. I'm sure there's going to be a terrorist attack very soon."

On July 6 the clairvoyant woke up with memories of his most disturbing dream yet. Chris recalls: "I saw even more mayhem in the dream. That night I watched the news and prayed a terrorist attack wouldn't happen." But the next day he was devastated when he heard about the London bombings. "I did let the authorities know, but there was little anyone could do to prevent the attacks," he says.

In the past the clairvoyant has made predictions - and kept complete records - about the Hatfield rail crash, several IRA bombs and a recent plane crash at Los Angeles International Airport.

"Chris has provided outstanding early warning of many terrorist activities in the past, especially IRA bombings. He even gave alerts just before the London bombings," says Dr Hearne, a psychologist who's studied dreaming for 30 years. Chris's gift, however, has been a mixed blessing. "When the dreams started occurring regularly I saw my GP. I thought something was wrong with me and he told me I was mad," he says.

"But I was saved by police officers and a priest who assured me that whatever was going on in my dreams, was real. I was not mad.

"Now thankfully, Dr Hearne acts as an official, unbiased, record keeper. He's got details of my visions going back 15 years and even spent six weeks at my house, monitoring my brain waves."
Chris, an office cleaner from Dunstable, Beds, also sends his dreams to 'the Network' a group of psychics based in Arizona. The Network is monitored by a retired US intelligence chief who passes on information to the Whitehouse.

British police too have been impressed by Chris's talents. Alex Hall, a former Detective Chief Inspector with the Regional Crime Squad, says:

"Over the years Chris has convinced me of the genuine belief he has in his powers. We have worked together on a number of investigations and he has been able to offer helpful information in relation to major crimes and terrorist activities."

Chris Robinson is a 'psychic superstar' in Japan

Chris Robinson first went to Japan in December 2004.

'Bessie jokes that I’m a "psychic superstar" in Japan. I’ve shown I can find bodies and that sort of thing. They did a whole documentary on a case I solved on live TV. Found the body with a series of dreams. Poor girl had been abducted by three men and buried by a lake. And I was in the news again over there for predicting the earthquake and tsunami in 2011.'

Mariko Fujiwara is a London-based Japanese production co-ordinator who worked with Robinson during the filming of a Japanese TV programme entitled "TV’s Power - SOS". The programme, broadcast on TV Asahi, one of the Japan's largest TV networks, features various unsolved murder/missing person cases in Japan and investigates such cases with the information provided by the police, the public, and some world-famous psychics. He said the following about Chris Robinson...

Chris has so far worked on three different murder cases, one in England and two in Japan. Each time he was not given any information on  the victim or the circumstances at first but just started seeing through something concerning the victim the production team in Japan had enclosed in an envelope before the filming. He knew exactly what was inside of the envelope (normally a couple of photos) and described fine details of the photos, which always amazed the Japanese people. Then he moved on to dream about more details of the case including the victim's last movements, the murder-related locations and the murderer, etc.

The information given by him was very accurate and he could even tell details of the locations without knowing anything about Japan. While we were in Japan, we went to some places instructed by him and were astonished to find all the signs and the landmarks etc. he had previously described. At the end of each investigation, we put the whole story together with his detailed description of the murderer to help the Japanese police and the production team to make further investigations. The programme with Chris on has become a huge success and nobody doubts his ability there.

Robinson's task is to dream 'Where You Will Take Me Tomorrow'
Chris Robinson (aka 'Premonition Man') is tasked to dream the night before where Richard & Judy production team will take him in London tomorrow. Robinson dreams, draws, and predicts: BOATS, ONLY ONE BOAT next to STRUCTURE WITH WINDOWS, BRIDGE, HOSPITAL. How many other locations in London have this combination of objects and landmarks? Richard & Judy thought Robinson's accuracy was 'astounding'.

In the Arizona Experiments Robinson scored 10 out of 10 in similar premonition tests
Professor Gary Schwartz of the University of Arizona confirms Robinson scored 10 out of 10 in similar tests in the United States. The professor also confirms that Robinson accurately predicted the 9/11 Twin Towers terrorist attack whilst he was undergoing the scientific Arizona Experiments in 2001.

This led to Robinson being employed to do (still classified) work for the US government
The results of these experiments led directly to Robinson being employed by the US government to work for them using his dream premonition powers in 2003. Most of what Robinson did for the US government is still classified.

Soothsayer's TV Dream comes true - Psychic detective to be 'the next Cracker'

TRANSCRIPT from Bedfordshire on Sunday - 16 June 1996

Soothsayer's TV Dream comes true
Psychic detective to be the next Cracker

A 'PSYCHIC detective' from Leighton Buzzard is to have his life .story made into a television series.

BBC bosses are staging talks with Chris Robinson with a view to making a police drama series out of his real-life adventures in his recent book The Dream Detective.

They predict 'The Dreamer' will rival Robbie Coltrane's Cracker in the popularity stakes.

Robinson, 45, shot to national fame after predicting two IRA bombs at the end of the ceasefire earlier this year.

In front of a Bedfordshire on Sunday reporter he correctly predicted that an IRA bomb had exploded on a double decker bus on a bridge on the night of the second bomb - even though he had no access  to TV or radio during a three-hour interview that night.

Robinson, whose other 'credits' include 'seeing' the fall of Margaret Thatcher, a fatal explosion on an airliner and various IRA atrocities including the murder of Tory MP Ian Gow, believes shooting on the series will start next spring.

He says he dreams 'symbols' of major events before they happen: He said: "I've been approached by three TV-making companies, one of whom is commissioned by the BBC.

"We have had a series of meetings; but nothing has been signed yet. But they seemed quite excited by it and if it gets the go-ahead, we hope it will be screened in autumn of next year.

"I think it would make good television because there are so many different detective series at the moment, I think television makers are looking for a new angle."

If the series does go ahead it is believed Robinson would become a salaried consultant commanding a large five-figure fee.

Robinson's eldest son, Paul, 25, could play a part in the series, Paul is currently taking a drama course in Hertfordshire and his father has asked show bosses to find a part for him in the series.

Former Bedfordshire Deputy Chief Inspector Alex Hall, who worked closely with Robinson on cases during his time in the force, said contractual agreements meant he could not comment.

But a friend said: "Alex has been approached to work as a consultant on the series, if it goes ahead, and he's really looking forward to it.''

Note: Update 15 March 2022:
As often happens in the world of TV and film, unfortunately, the producer who was keen on making this series left the production company just as the idea was progressing. Which meant it didn’t get made. But we're writing a script for The Premonition Man to mirror the forthcoming book of the same name, which we aim to publish in 2022, so there may be an update on a film or TV series in the future.

TRANSCRIPT from Woman's Day [USA] on 1 April 1996

DREAM DETECTIVE - Chris Robinson sees every detail of crimes and disasters ... before they've happened

Chris Robinson's experiences with dreams really began in 1989, during a period of upheaval in his life, when Chris was in his late 30s. He was living in a caravan in a mobile homes park doing odd jobs. He had just become a father again.

One night, Chris was staying with a friend and was woken by what he thought was his child crying. Then he realised that he could hear a voice in the room -his grandmother's voice.
But his grandmother had been dead for several years.

Chris could hear her voice clearly, as though she were standing next to him. "Christopher," she said, "someone is trying to steal your car."

Chris found himself in a half-dream state, accepting it as fact that he was talking to his dead grandmother. "Nan, the car's not here, it's at home. By the time I get a taxi or walk there, it'll be long gone. Anyway," he added, wanting to get back to sleep, "it's insured."

"Don't worry, Christopher," his· grandmother said, "I'll do something about it."

The next afternoon, as Chris reached home, one of his neighbours came over to see him.

"Something strange happened in the middle of the night," she said. "There was a blinding light, and we heard a voice. My husband got up and looked out of the window. There were these blokes trying to break into your car, so he chased them off. He spent the rest of the night sitting up, guarding it."

Chris checked the car, and it was perfectly all right. He thanked his neigh-bours, then went back tn the caravan and thought about what had happened. Had his grandmother saved his car?

I to went to the local church and pruyod to both his grandmother and grundfather, thanking them. He had no idea that this was the beginning of something. He simply put it down to a strange  coincidence.

Chris was flying over water. There was a man below him, in the water, in some distress. Chris knew the man was going to die and flew down to help him. The stranger had fallen off a boat that Chris could see in the distance, sailing away from them. The man said: "It's all right for you - you're going back to your body in the morning. I'm not."

It was frightening, and Chris woke with a start. He found an old letter by the side of the bed, scribbled down a few details of his strange dream, then went back to sleep.

Two days later there was an item on the news about an ex-soldier who had fallen overboard from a ferry bound for Sweden, and had drowned.

Chris had mentioned the dream to a policeman whom he had been assisting with an investigation concerning some ex-colleagues. He had also told his friend Trevor Kempson, a News Of The World journalist.

A week later, the same boat was involved in another incident. Chris already had a feeling that something terrible was going to happen to the boat, and had told the police. The boat was carrying a consignment of beagles to Sweden. Nearly all of the dogs died, suffocating from lack of oxygen.

The night after the incident, the soldier appeared again in Chris's dreams, and told him that he was going to set the boat alight. The next morning Chris was on the phone to his police contacts, telling them of his dream. And then, in the same spot where authorities were sure the soldier had drowned, the sister-boat to the first ferry caught fire.

The summer went on, and a few dreams came and went. Having no proper records, Chris can't recall the exact details.

But by now the police were becoming extremely interested. Two officers took over the job of dealing with Chris and, if not monitoring him, then, at the very least, keeping an eye on his dreams.

Chris felt ill-at-ease with his dreams. There had been an accumulation of data all about planes. Chris filled a whole page of a notebook, which he now kept by his bed to record his dreams, and among his notes were the words: plane, end, die, gone to airport on way home and CRASH.

Next morning he spoke to Paul Aylott, a local detective inspector, and said: "I think there's going to be a plane crash, and people will die. I don't know how many, but I've got the number 93. It's going to come down in a bunker. And I think it's going to be Valentine's Day. There are Asians on the plane. But the real clue is some chemicals."

It was actually on February 15 that Aylott and Chris next spoke. An Air India plane had crashed in India, into a bunker on a golf course, killing 93 people. It had exploded coming in to land over the town of Bhopal. That was the link with chemicals: Bhopal was the scene of a chemical works explosion in the late 1970s which had left many dead and the inhabitants of the town with long-term health problems.

The month of February ended with a premonition of a train crash. Chris dreamt that he was on a commuter train running towards a junction where the line was closed. The passengers were quite unaware of what was about to happen. He phoned Paul Aylott when he awoke, and said: "There's going to be a train crash in Penge [an area in south London], but I don't know when."
And on the night of February 28, Chris received a phone call from Paul. "There's been a train crash in Penge."

As Chris put down the phone, he began to wonder what his other dreams of the past month might mean. He had dreamt he was sawing the top off a radiator and repairing a hole in the pipes of a washing machine. He also had the words water and WATER-leek written on the page. Why had he spelt leek that way?

The answer became obvious within the next day or two, when torrential rai  caused flooding in parts of Wales. Not only had he been repairing potential flood risks in radiators and washing machines, he had written about a water leak with a double meaning: leek being the vegetable with which the Welsh are associated, and also an obvious mis-spelling of the world leak. If nothing else, this showed that his subconscious had a sense  of humour.

Chris had uneasy dreams. In one of them, he dreamt about the smuggling of mercury detonators, the type used in nuclear weapons. There were also hints of forthcoming problems between Iran and Iraq. The next night had seen him write shooting in the street and [Bullet] in [head] in his dream diary. Brackets placed around words in his notes meant he was not sure.

On March 28, 1989, five people were arrested at London's Heathrow Airport after the security staff made a chilling find in an aircraft hangar there: 40 krytron triggers in an ordinary suitcase. These triggers form part of a sophisticated electronic system for a nuclear device.
The krytons were bound for Iraq, where Saddam Hussein had, two weeks previously, ordered the execution of journalist Fazad Bazoft for allegedly spying on missile bases.

Then, on the night of March 29, weaponry expert Dr Gerry Bull was walked through Arrivals and into the airport's main building.

Pete had to think fast. "Swap it for sand and let him walk," he finally decided. "I don't want anyone taking their eye off him for more than a second. He's got to be heavily tailed."

The case was passed through, and word sent to Customs at the airport to let the courier through unchallenged. He was followed to a North London park, where he waited for several hours.
Pete finally conceded defeat and ordered that the courier be arrested. The people he was working for must have had an observer at the airport.

The courier stood trial and received a heavy prison sentence. He had been caught thanks to Chris's dream. It was just a shame that no other member of the gang was netted in the operation. But perhaps Chris had helped to dry up one line of supply for drugs being smuggled into the country.

In September 1990 Chris began to feel that very few people were taking notice of what was happening in his dreams. He wrote to Graham Bright, his local Member of Parliament, then to Scotland Yard and to the Ministry of Defence. In each letter he outlined what had happened to him so far, and asked each party what they intended to do to help further research into his dreams, and put the dream results to good use.

Graham Bright was the only one to reply positively. He wrote several times and also telephoned Chris about his premonitions. Chris was put in touch with Special Branch in Cambridge, and Mr Bright began to take particular notice of Chris Robinson - because Graham Bright happened to be John Major's parliamentary private secretary, and Chris began to have dreams about an attack on John Major.

On October 18, 1990, Chris dreamt he was in a car with an Irishman in a blue suit. He could see the man's pear-shaped face clearly, with his pointed chin, and a thick shock of red hair. The man was talking about the IRA.

When he woke, Chris could see that he had written Car in Bits and [mini] change front. From this he knew that the next IRA attack would use a vehicle - not necessarily a Mini, which was why the word was bracketed - that had been altered in some way. And from the way he had written the former phrase, he knew that the postcode would be CB - or Cambridge, the county in which John Major had his constituency.

On the night of November 14, Chris dreamt of a white van, which was being used by the IRA. Two nights later, on November 16, there was a reference in the dreams to [Philip] Lawson.
The brackets around the name Philip suggested uncertainty - which left Chris with Lawson. At that time, the Chancellor of the Exchequer was Nigel Lawson, living in the Chancellor's official residence at 11 Downing Street, next to the Prime Minister's residence at Number 10.

John Major was not yet Britain's Prime Minister, but Chris had a feeling that this would change: for some time he had been having dreams that told him Margaret Thatcher would soon be replaced. Put together with all the references to John Major, Chris felt sure that he would be the replacement.

At any other time this would have been a premonition noteworthy in itself, but right now that was the last thing on Chris's mind.

His dreams began to come through with a strong message. Chris dreamt of IRA men getting away from a scene of crime on a big motorbike. This eventually turned out to be correct.
But the dream had a double meaning, because Chris wrote the phrase Big Old Motorbike in his dream diary, which was a way of indicating a bomb: Big Old Motorbike. Bomb.

While this had been happening, the expected coup in the Tory Party had occurred and John Major had been installed as Prime Minister.

So it was no surprise that Chris wrote on December 3: Halt at Major Rd ahead. Phone call warning to [police].

The dream on Tuesday, January 8, was so explicit that it prompted Chris to send it directly to Graham Bright.

The dream revealed codes for the SAS, SW1, BT - the postcode for Belfast, and a sure sign of IRA activity in Chris's universe - and Cambridge, signifying John Major. Just imagine how Chris must have felt as he tried to make people listen to him. He translated the dream to send it to Graham Bright.

On January 10, he saw a van being resprayed by the IRA. He knew the van that would be used in the attack would be white - as indeed it was.

Wednesday, February 6, saw the most blatant dreams yet: three rockets firing into space, with postcodes for SW1. There were more resprayed cars like those Chris had been seeing for months. When he woke at four in the morning, he knew what was going to happen.

He also knew that he couldn't go back to sleep. His wife was working at a hotel, and she was due to start an early shift at 5.30am. Chris made her break-fast, then drove her to work.
He took his children to school and told a couple of their teachers about his dreams. By the time he got back home it was close to 10 o'clock. Chris had become resigned to the fact that no-one was taking any notice of him.

The phone rang. At first he wasn't going to answer it, but a voice in his head said, "Answer it, Chrissy, it might be important."

If there was one thing he had learnt by now, it was never to ignore the voices that occasionally came into his head. He answered the phone.

It was Graham Bright. He told Chris there had been an attack on Downing Street at 10 o'clock that morning. Three rockets had been fired from a white van that had then exploded. Two men were seen making a getaway on a motorbike.

One of the rockets had landed in the garden of No 11 Downing Street. The other two had hit No 10, but had caused little damage, apart from the falling plaster dust that surrounded Graham as he spoke.

"What can I do to help you?" he asked Chris. "I now know that you were utterly correct."

"If you really want to help, the first thing you can do is write me a letter," Chris replied."Because the biggest problem I have is that people don't believe me. If I had verification from somebody in your position, that would make things so much easier."

"I do believe you. And all the police I've spoken to who have dealt with you believe you. The problem is that all the ones who have no experience of you think that you're mad, and think that I'm mad to believe you."

Chris put the phone down, and it struck him as remarkable that, within an hour of a major attack on Downing Street, the Prime Minister's private secretary had found time to ring a psychic in a small country village.

Sadie Holland was a researcher for Arthur C. Clarke's Mysterious Universe, a series of television documentaries linked by the famous science fiction author. When she asked Chris to take part in an experiment which would be conducted by Dr Richard Wiseman at the University of Hertfordshire, he had no hesitation in accepting.

Sadie told him that the tests were designed so that four psychics would be shown three predetermined objects. Only Dr Wiseman would know what they were until the day.

"You realise I don't work like that, don't you?" Chris said. "I may be able to dream about the objects in advance, but I won't just be able to look at them and give you an instant history.

"Put the objects in boxes, and label the boxes A, B and C. Then I can ask the spirits questions about box A on Friday night, box B on Saturday night, and box C on Sunday. I can fax you the dream notes next morning, to be compared later to the history of each object."

On the first night, Chris's dreams were confused, but when he awoke he knew that a woman had been murdered. She knew her killer, and had been killed with a gun, but beyond that there was nothing concrete.

The second night was better. Chris was visited by PC Keith Blakelock, who had been killed in London's Tottenham riots of 1985. He told Chris of two murdered policemen. One death was his own, the other related to the second object -box B. As with Blakelock, this constable had died of wounds to the head. However, these wounds had been caused by a gunshot.

On the third night, Chris found himself observing a woman preparing a bottle of milk for a small baby. Police-woman Yvonne Fletcher, murdered in 1984, appeared by his side, and said words, which he wrote down in his diary: keep your fingers away - boiling over - turn heat off. Chris found himself standing in a flat which he knew was in London. The room caught fire, and the shock of this made him wake up.

On September 13, four psychics, a TV crew, and Dr Richard Wiseman were assembled in the doctor's lab. Chris had a shock: the objects were laid out on a table ... They were neither boxed nor labelled, as he had requested.

"Can these at least be labelled, as that's how I've worked?" asked Chris.

Dr Wiseman seemed put out. "Very well," he sighed, and asked a student to label the items A, B, and C.

Chris sat down in front of the table, and picked up object A, a lady's shoe. He told the camera what he had dreamed and .that he expected the shoe to have belonged to a woman who had been shot.

Object B was the projectile part of a bullet, without the shell casing. He told the camera about his encounter with Blakelock, and how he expected that this was connected to the murder of a police constable.

Object C was a red woollen scarf. As he picked it up, he experienced a rare flash of psychometry. As soon as it was in his hands he could see a woman being strangled: he put the scarf around his neck, and as he did he could see milk bottles. It was his opinion that the scarf had been used as a murder weapon, and that the murder was in some way connected to milk.

The objects had all come from the Essex Police Museum. The shoe had belonged to Camille Cecile Holland, a 57-year-old woman shot dead by her common law husband, at their remote farmhouse. She was missing for four years before a digging party found her body at the farm. She was identified by her shoes, and her killer was hanged on the evidence of a London cobbler, who made the shoes.

The bullet was one which killed Police Constable George Gutteridge at Stapleford Abbots in September 1927.

He was shot in the head by Frederick Browne, later arrested with a gun in his possession. It was proved by ballistics evidence, used for the first time in an English murder trial, to be the same as that which killed PC Gutteridge.

The scarf had been used in a recent murder. The victim's name was not-revealed, but she had been killed by her milkman in a row over her milk bill. He had reported finding the body on his rounds to try to cover his complicity. When he finally confessed, he claimed that it was an accidental killing, and that she had been strangled by the scarf when he had grabbed it to prevent her  running away.

Chris says: "Considering the amount of money spent on research into space and astronomy, I think it's incredible that no-one has ever written a book or done heavy research into dreams. Millions of people all over the world dream every time they sleep, yet no study of dreams has been published.

"As far as the police I've spoken to are concerned, I'm the only person that they know of who has repeatedly had dreams that apparently foretell many unforeseeable occurrences. My own doctor has told me that I'm not mad, neither do I need any medical treatment. He says it is possible that perhaps I have been affected by the high number of near-death experiences I have had over the years, or by long periods of anaesthesia that I endured during my open-heart surgery when I was a child."

Daily Star--Dreamer Chris in Horror Forecast
12 June 1990

The horrors that hit Britain at the weekend did not surprise former Tv repairman Chris. For he claims that he has already seen them taking place – in his dreams.

Chris, 39, gave up his old job a year ago to devote all his time to studying his dreams of death and destruction… and to warn people about them.

And yesterday he claimed that as he slept he foresaw the terrible events of the past few days.

His clairvoyant insight showed him:

The BOMB planted by Animal Rights fanatics in a car in Bristol which injured baby John Tupper.

The PILOT who was sucked out of a plane window.

And the PARTY of teenagers in Saturday’s 21st birthday bash at the Honourable Artillery Company headquarters in London.

In fact he was so certain about the Bristol car bombing that he says he sent the police a map on Friday indicating where it would take place.

Chris lives in a caravan in Bedfordshire with his wife Bessie. He said yesterday: “before I go to sleep, I leave a piece of paper with a certain question on it by my bed and pray for an answer.

“The notes are full of cryptic clues about major disasters which I have to interpret. But I’m getting better and better at it.”

One of his police acquaintances, a detective inspector said: “He can give an area where something will happen.”

Blunder Bus! Scandal of £100 gadget that puts Maggie’s life in danger

An amazing breach of security has made Maggie Thatcher a sitting target for terrorists.

As the Prime Minister storms the country on the election trail in her bomb-proof bus, would-be snipers can listen to her top-secret plans.

Mrs Thatcher’s battle bus communications system has been cracked by a little black box of computer wizardry.

Available at any High Street electrical shop for £100, the black box can monitor sensitive telephone conversations.

The chink in communications was exposed by security consultant Chris Robinson.

As the Prime Minister toured Lancashire last Friday, he listened to calls between No. 10 Downing Street and the bus.

In one conversation an aide with the Thatcher party told his wife: “We will be flying from Gatwick and I don’t have to be there until 10 o’clock.”

Another assistant called Stephen chatted with a colleague, Charles in London.

Charles told him: “The PM has agreed to debate with a TV audience for Channel 4 News on Monday June 8.

LEAKS

It’s being recorded on the 8th. I had a vague ambition of going to Venice on that day.

“Kinnock is doing it on the Friday. Owen and Steel on the Tuesday after the PM.
Charles goes on to say: “The tapes have been running about those bloody doctors who have been writing to the Times. That’s the only hostile story.”

Mr. Robinson said: “If a terrorist were to listen in for a few days he’d have a detailed record of the Prime Minister’s movements.

“She’d become and easy target for a sniper.”

“I think the Prime Minister should know her communications network leaks like sieve.”

For three hours Mr Robinson followed the blue battle bus at distances of up to five miles as Maggie visited a biscuit factory in Nelson and the British Aerospace plant near Preston.

His equipment, a radio scanner about ten inches by ten, was plugged into the cigarette lighter in his car dashboard.

Mr Robinson said: “This equipment is easily available and simple to operate. It just takes a few minutes to work it.

“Talk about battle bus… it should be Maggie’s blunder bus.”

TRANSCRIPT—Evening Post: UFO Sighting from caravan park
26 October 1971

‘Mummy, Mummy, don’t let the spacemen get us’

Frightened children ran to their mothers saying: “Don’t let the spacemen get us,” when a mysterious boat-shaped object appeared in the sky north of Caddington last night.

The object which had green and red flashing lights, was observed for over three hours by a group of 60 people at The Grove caravan site.

TV engineer 20-year-old Christopher Robinson, who lives on the caravan site, was the first person to spot the object.

“I saw it just after 9pm and thought it was an aeroplane, but then I noticed it was going too fast for a plane and, it cut across the flight paths, which no plane would ever have done.

“Then it started moving left and right up and down.

“A lot of people came out to watch it and at one stage it looked so near that the kids started shouting with fear. In fact, some of the adults were frightened as well.”

Mr Robinson said that the object’s lights changed from very bright red to very bright green.

“I know people like Patrick Moore will say it was just an optical phenomenon,” he said. “But you don’t get 60 people watching an optical illusion. I know there was something there and I will be watching again tonight.”

Mr Alan Milton, who also lives on The Grove caravan site, watched the object for over an hour through a high-powered telescope. “I was doubtful at first, but soon changed my mind.

“The object looked like a small new moon and occasional flashes came from it. It was bobbing about all over the place and must have been pretty large because it was over an inch across on he telescope.

“It disappeared at about 1am and nobody has a clue what it was.”

Evening Post photographer Keith Dobney got to the caravan site at 11.20pm.

Long way away

“My first impression was that it was a star, but it was bigger than the other stars in the sky and it was moving.

“I took a picture on a one minute exposure which shows that it moved. It was a long way away and it was not something that you could recognise, but there was something there moving around the sky.”

A spokesman at Luton Airport said they had no reports of an unidentified flying object last night.

Mr Tony Northwood, chairman of Bedfordshire UFO Society, said the sighting sounded “pretty incredible” and the society would investigate it.
