ABOUT GRANT & JANE
As long-term members of the Society for Psychical Research (SPR est. 1882)—like many scientists, philosophers, engineers, and writers before us—we are interested in the scientific investigation of paranormal (or 'psi') phenomena; such as the mysterious case reported in our book, The Scole Experiment, which is currently 'in development' as a movie of the same name.
Dr Jeffrey Mishlove, Winner of the $500,000 Prize in the Bigelow Institute for Consciousness Studies 'Best Evidence for Afterlife' Essay Contest, says of The Scole Experiment: '...possibly constituting the greatest variety and intensity of unbelievable physical phenomena in the history of parapsychology and psychical research'. We call our genre 'psi-paranormal' to encompass all aspects of this fascinating subject. Under the pen-name, Jack Trelawny, Grant writes and Jane edits children's adventure books with magical (or 'psi-paranormal') themes; which 'Jack' has presented to assemblies totalling 400,000 children on 2,000 school visits. Imagine five Wembley Stadiums full of screaming pirates aged five to eleven! Our 'Spectrum Story Planner' below is designed to be a reminder for writers of all the elements of a story according to the Save The Cat and Hero's Journey writing systems. Feel free to use it if it helps your own creative process. PDF file. |
